Kumar Goursundar Das is IDC Retail Insights’ Research Manager for Asia Pacific.
In this position he provides advisory support to retail end-user organizations and technology vendors, and manages IDC Retail Insights' research program for the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining IDC Retail Insights, Mr. Das worked with Tesco HSC as an Assistant Manager in Space Range and Merchandising for Tesco's UK & Ireland business, Symphony Technology Group as an Associate Manager for U.S. CPG and Retail. He has also worked extensively on outsourcing and transitioning of insights, reporting and analytical work to Indian operations.
Mr. Das studied at Ravenshaw College, Cuttack (India) and graduated with a Bachelor in Commerce (Accounts Honors).
He holds a PGDBA degree from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad (India).
